QB and the Cheerleader!

Love for football has always been a constant in our relationship! From the very first night I met Josh, football has been a part of us! We were at a Super Bowl BBQ arguing over who would win between the Giants and Patriots...I was rooting for the Giants (the underdogs) and he was rooting for the Patriots (the obvious win); however, I was right...from day #1!! After bantering back and forth for the entire night, I won our bet! The Giants took home a crazy, yet well deserving victory of the Super Bowl! :) I had great bragging rights and he loved my love for football, claiming he could never marry someone who didn't like the sport and share passion for it like himself! A week later, we began dating! He was the Quarterback and I was the cheerleader at our college, UMHB! What a cliche love story, huh? Well, it's ours and I love it! Also, for any of you who know Josh, know he loves Brett Favre and the Packers! Once Favre left the Packers, Josh chose to follow him for the next three years as he played with the Jets, then finished his career with the Vikings! We had an opportunity to go see Favre play with the Vikings against the Giants in Minnesota, then again a year later against the Packers! What a fitting way to end Josh's love affair with Favre! We traveled to Greenbay, Wisconsin and watched Favre take on the Packers at the coolest football stadium ever, Lambeau Field! If you really want to be in the atmosphere of football, Lambeau nails it on the head! It is such real football, down to the elements of the weather and the bleacher seats you sit on, to the 70 year old man with season tickets ever since he was 20 years old! What an awesome way to enjoy true football! Greenbay Packers fans are one in a million! They know how to tail-gate, dress up, and support their team! Now that Favre has retired...again...and again, Josh will follow the Greenbay Packers forever! He has a cheesehead, a Greenbay blanket, a Brett Favre Boulevard sign, and many other souvenirs to show his love of the Packers!! His man crush is the cutest! :) I love his love for football and I'm so excited we share a passion for the game!
