Kady is one of my very best friends!!! I can tell her absolutely anything in the entire world and she will never judge me! She knows some of my deepest secrets! Kady has helped me through some tough times! Even though she's many states away, we have managed to stay best friends despite the distance and I love her for it! It's so much fun getting to visit her! I've been to Fargo, Boston, and Minnesota to see her! I always try to talk her into moving somewhere tropical if she won't move back to Texas! Last January, Josh and I got to go ice fishing, skiing, and to see a Vikings game with Kady and her husband Darrin! We had a blast and can't wait for many more trips! I love my Kady Jean!
Amanda Ray!
Amanda and I have known each other since we were little girls! I remember going to her birthday when I was about 8 years old. We spent countless nights at her house all through elementary, middle school, and high school. We even made a fabulous Spice Girls video, that hopefully will never resurface! Once we graduated, we moved to Tyler to live together and attend TJC! It was so fun being on our own! She has such a nurturing, old soul personality, and is a great friend! She is always there when I need her and would never let me down! I love you, Amanda May!
Lisa Copeland!
Lisa is one of the best Christians I know! She is always willing to give advice and share God's word, yet never comes across as pushy or judgmental. She's helped me through heartbreaks, school, and many other times when I needed help or advice about this or that! She is such a wonderful wife and mother. I look up to how she and Shawn manage their money. Josh and I often go to them for advice about how to spend money and save as well. They are such an inspiration to us as a couple, Christians, and parents! God has surely blessed me with a friend like her! I love you, Lisa!
Chanler Mireault!
Chanler is like my little sister! She was a cheerleader this past year at Wylie High School! I began noticing she is almost a spitting image of me...down to her terrible driving and care free/scatterbrain personality! She went through a lot of stuff this past school year and we became very close. Her family has taken me in as a part of their family. I am very protective over Chanler, as if she were my little sister! I love giving her advice and helping her when she needs me! She is a great friend and I will miss her dearly when she goes to OSU, but I can't wait to visit her and make many more memories! I love you, Jelly Bean!!
Amy McLaughlin!
Amy! Amy! Amy! :) A smile comes to my face just thinking about her! She is one of the sweetest people I know! Amy and I were college roommates! On day one, she showed me around our college town, and told me all the wonderful places and restaurants I should try out! Throughout our time as roommates, she was always so helpful and caring. If I came home late, she would lift her head off her the pillow, with the biggest smile on her face, and say, "You can turn the light on if you want to!" Her personality is so precious and God blessed me with the best roommate I could ever ask for! I love you, Amy "Roomie" McLaughlin!
Allison Hulcy!
Allison and I were always so competitive in college! Any time we played volleyball, Sader Puff, or even board games, it was a battle! When we were on the same team, people hated us because we talked so much smack, and when we were on separate teams, it was on! We both have a very comedy driven side to our personalities. We stayed up until 4:00am many nights watching Ellen Degeneres Stand Up on YouTube, and she was the one who introduced me to The Office! I love her competitive nature and her love to laugh! I love you, Allison...Future Mrs. Smith!
Keri Tatum!
Keri was the first person to take me under her wing at UMHB. When I was first considering going there, I met her through a mutual friend who attended UMHB as well, and she was so encouraging! She was actually the one to talk me into trying out for cheerleader and had the idea of me living with her and the other five girls in Beall Hall! Two years into my time at UMHB, we participated in Pageant together! Throughout the entire process, she was so encouraging and helped me work through my nerves!! In the end, she ended up being crowned Miss UMHB! I was so happy for her! In the picture above, I'm wearing her crown and pretending to be hitting her in the face for winning! What a fun night this was! I love you Ker!!!
Kelli Hearn!
Oh Fiddle!!! This is one of Kelli's number one sayings! She might say this when she drops something, or gets frustrated! :) It's so funny and we all love to tease her about this! Kelli and I got super close the summer before I moved away from Belton! We would have long chats about boys mostly! I loved listening to her boy stuff and offering advice when I could! She is so patient and loving! She and Keri (who are twins by the way) would get in the funniest arguments! They would fight, but it would not be like fighting at all. They would never raise their voices, or even say mean things! We loved to laugh as they were "mad" at each other! She is clearly the first born of the two! I love you Kelli Belly!!
