One of my guilty pleasures is "Reality" tv! My favorite show since high school has been The Bachelor/Bachelorette! As the years have gone on, it's become less and less reality. The dates have moved from California to St. Lucia and Vegas and Hong Kong. They swim with sharks, ride mopeds across the countryside of Taiwan, and picnic in the water of the Bellagio while as they are serenaded by some famous, fabulous singer! I'm not mocking the show, because like I said, it's my favorite; however, I do question the reality of it all! If people are truly looking for their soul mate, they should go on movie dates or hang out at the house or go eat somewhere normal like in the real world! I believe the false sense of a real relationship is in fact the number one reason for the unsuccess of the couples!
My point is this, I love to travel and see amazing things God has created, but I love even more that Josh and I can be entertained by the everyday things in life. We can eat $5.00 Hot n' Readys from Little Caesars and fall in love with an $8.00 bottle of wine, while watching a $1.00 Redbox movie!!! :)
Loving my reality,
Hope (Future Mrs. Saenz)
